Podcast Audio Restoration - Late Apex

This episode of the Late Apex podcast originally suffered from distracting room noise and inconsistent audio quality between recording takes. In some segments, a harsh hiss overwhelmed the voice; in others, a deep rumble muddied the dialogue. These shifts were jarring and broke the listener’s focus.

I brought the raw audio into Pro Tools and carefully isolated each section where the room tone changed. Using a combination of multiband dynamics processing and compression, I removed the most intrusive noise while preserving the natural sound of the speaker’s voice. I then rebalanced and polished the full episode to ensure a consistent tone and volume from start to finish.

The result is a cleaner, more professional listening experience where the speaker’s voice remains clear, steady, and engaging—without distracting background changes.
